The Aspen View board of trustees has delayed approval of their 2017-18 budget.
It's following a detailed presentation by administration at the previous meeting.
Alberta Education has extended the deadline for budgets to be approved to June 30.
The Aspen View delay is to allow administration to see if any changes are needed to the draft budget.
Aspen View expects to be down 95 students from their September 2016 enrolment figures - which translates to about $1.07 million less in funding than the current year.
If trustees want a balanced operating budget for 2017-18, expenses need to go down by approximately $1.45 million, or three per cent.
