WHAT: Muskeg Creek Trail Run Registration Open!

WHEN: June 17, 2017

WHERE: Muskeg Creek Trail System, Athabasca, Alberta

DETAILS: The Muskeg Creek Trail Run will be on June 17th. Presenting a 2.5km, 5km and 10km run. Plus the Super Stairs Competition will be back once again! Get registered at aspenpcn.ca or by calling 780-675-9812. This run is organized by the Aspen Primary Care Network. Free Pancake Breakfast will be provided courtesy of our local MLA Colin Piquette.

WHAT: Magnificent River Rats Festival 

WHEN: June 30th and July 1st

DETAILS: Celebrating it’s 21st year. Headliners include Sharon and Bram, beloved Canadian Children’s performers and Canadian classic rock band Doug and the Slugs! WHAT: SCARS (Second Chance Animal Rescue Society) Reminder

DETAILS: SCARS would like to remind people what you should do if you've lost your pet, or recently found one. Call the county office or town office to report it or for help the local Vet Clinic.

If your pet has identifying microchip, call the microchip company. Most lost pets in the area get turned in to Sammy's Pet Boarding, 780-675-9557. Ask your neighbors, or report the lost pet to SCARS.
